Damn...if only it wouldn't knock me out of A Stock.

Maybe I'll be jumping to ESP or SM sooner than I thought...

Yeah--it is ESP for me next year anyway, so I will be doing this mod ASAP.

This was a pleasant surprise for me, I am still not sure I completely understand how that happened, but I am not complaining.
hey silver....did you take out the restrictor also?

Yes I actually took my restrictor out shortly after I got the car, it definiately makes an improvement. IMO if your doing the clutch line, you should absolutely remove the restrictor, if you havent already done so.

Regarding the install questions, I think Timzcat offered to do a step by step install with pics? If there is any one in the D/FW area that wants to do this soon, I would be willing to help you with it.

As I already mentioned the only real snag is trying to get a wrench on the clutch master cylinder line bolt, it's in a real tight spot. I would also recommend getting a small 1/4 or 3/8" rubber stopper or vacum cap that you can shove in the hole to keep from getting fluid every where.

It is basically a straight forward installation, but I am sure there will be installation instructions & pic's comming soon. If you are able to replace your brake lines or remove the clutch restrictor, you can do this. If your not sure have someone else do it. A qualified person/shop should be able to do this within 1-2 hrs maybe less.
I drove some one elses EVO the other day with no clutch restrictor and the stock clutch hose.
I have no doubt you guy's are going to really like this upgrade.
