Thanks Guys!

Trent, Thanks alot for the compliments! And think you for the tips the other night! I am going to continue what Im doing, it has been slowly getting better with each pass!

Epic, Thanks, yea the way it fealt, I wouldnt be suprised if I hit 139 or 140 with it when my new manifold gets on! We could have taken some fuel out and it would have ran over 138 the other night!

I would like to get tuned on Q16 and VP Import, but the Import is going to be whatever David says about it. I know it will make pretty big numbers on either.

Nice, yea Q-16 or vp import is what i think im going to switch over to when we get the motor put back in, im still on the stock mani and throttle body so im in the same boat, need to get those things changed then up the boost to 35-40 whatever it will push at this altitude..

But you mph is good for low 10's with drag radials.. i went 10.2 @139 and 10.5@134 you'll get it but like everyone said it takes some seat time!!

congrats though on your progress so far!!

I will install the intake, tune the car on race gas, no problem. My suggestion is the same as Trent's though, when you run 10.60's consistently on the pump gas at 134, then grasshopper you are ready for race gas. Race gas is going to be even harder to drive, put more wear and tear on the car.

You are the customer though, if the intake and race gas is what you want, we'll arrange it all and get it done.

Hey Jeff, sorry, I just found out I have to work next Friday and cant go! I am going to 42 on Tuesday though.

I went out to the track tonight for our schools Drag night. We went to LaRue, a track crapier than 42 (i know, its hard to believe)! I ran consistent times! Most were 11.08-11.3! My 60s were all around 1.8! I could not hook to save my life. The reason I know the track sucks, the first time we put VHT infront of my tires before my burnout, the track official yelled at us saying that we were going to drag it down the track (god forbid something might give us traction!)

Last pass of the night though, I finally got 10s! I went 10.99 @ 133.6! My 60 was 1.77 and my 1/8 was 102 mph! The car ran awesome, especially after alot of VHT and 14psi in the Drag Radials! I cant wait to get back to Norwalk! My last pass would have easialy gone 10.6-7 at Norwalk! I am finally getting consistent with the launches!

Dave, I cant wait to get that manifold! I am going to get the tunes for race gas, but Im not planning to use them until I am consistent with the car! I just want to get it all done at once, so I dont have to explain to my mom why I need a race gas tune! lol I cant wait till Tuesday though so that I can get onto 42 and get some better times. I know its not great, but its one of the better places for now.

I also think I need the rev limiter upped for the end of the 1/4, when I run it hard its hitting the rev limit 4-5 times at the end and feels horrible!

I'll try to make it out to D42 Tuesday. Give me a call again to remind me. I can bump the limiter there for you. Trent said he hit it too.

Congrats on your 10.9 pass, that's awesome!

Thanks alot guys! It was awesome because I did it infront of all the guys from school who are mostly muscle car guys! I went without a loss all night and shut up alot of doubters. I had 2 runs I missed 3rd and went 11.9s and then my other 3 runs were: first run of the night I wend 11.32 @ 134, then 11.08 @ 135, and my last pass was my 10.9. I was so pumped when I got my slip that I think everyone in the staging lanes heard me! I have videos that I will try to load up tomorrow night!

Dave, Im probly going to stop by the shop Tuesday on my way! I would like to try the slicks out at 42. I am thinking of buying a set after the shootout! I need them when I run at LaRue so I can hook.
