Oil cooler lines- Direction of oil travel

I need to know for sure which oil line coming off of the factory oil cooler is the cool side? I need to tape into it for an Accusump. I am not sure of the direction of the oil flow off of the oil filter housing???

My guess is the oil cooler uses gravity to aid the pull of oil. So I guess, the cool side (after going through the cooler) is the bottom line going back to the filter housing.
