Do you run 9's? If not i would stay with the 35 and look at the rest of your setup first before touching the turbo.

600-1000rpm laggier than what you have now! Not worth the trade off, read sig! If you feel you need more, your not boosting high enough, if you are over 42psi then turn it down a little and throw a 50 shot on it!

You run high 10's on pump gas or race gas?

According to DB spool is 200 to 300 rpm later on the HTA 37r than the HTA 35r.

if this is fact, then the hta37 is alot better than what people think. do you think it would be a better option than the hta35r if im running pump and alky and 32-35lbs of boost?

Buschur is a super tuner, we don;t all have his parts nor his skills and yrs of knowledge. We cant go by what his car does... He is also running 9.4 on one too which is not achievable by just anyone. It would make sense that the spool characteristics would be the difference between a normal 35r and 37r, now if you make them both HTA's I don't see the HTA 37R all of a suddon closing a 3-600 rpm gap.

You guys do what you want, I'm running a 10.1:1 comp 2.4l with T4 HTA 35R and 100 shot

vp NO2 , I havent tried without it ,
I sold my evo8 to a friend and want to build a newer one with the same setup only changing to the 88HTA, I love drag racing and do that allot. thanks for the advise 200 to 300 rpm increase in spool up seems fine.

^ I think your making a mistake, I would do some more reading if I were you. It seems that you are set on switching from the HTA 35R so I honestly believe the best turbo for you is the 850R. It gives you standard 35R type spool and makes more power than the HTA88 aka HTA 37R

This would be the only turbo I would step up to, if I ditched the HTA 35R period!
