Purpose of fuel pressure regulator solenoid?
I accidentally broke off the nipple on the fuel pressure regulator solenoid and i am curious as to what the purpose of it is and if you can run the car without it?

During cold start, it keeps the FPR from getting vacuum. The causes higher fuel pressure which aids in cold start.
You can bypass the solenoid. Leave the electronics plugged in or you will get a CEL.
