Thank you. I am working on hiding some of the wiring on the car, especially the batt cables from the relocation. I am also trying to build my own COP to help with a low RPM p0300. That and adding a vacum pump to pull crank case pressure out.
great thread! im going through the same mess now, my evo 8 blew. im gonna try n post pics up also like you did.. Where did you send the tranny/transfer case? i know usually with a 30/35/37r upgrade the tranny/transfer case wont hold up.

Actually there are plenty of people running stock tc and trans with those turbo upgrades. I know scorke and mellon both have stock trans/tcases on 550+ whp cars with out probs.
So yeah, other than a TSB update on my trans & twin disk, everything is stock drivetrain wise

The few times I have been able to get on it (i didnt load the map until thrus) it loves the boost. The 2psi increase diff made a big improvement. It also sounds better (when under WOT)
The Guss mod to the Evo9 diverter valve really makes a differences. It now holds psi strongly, and it now sounds alot louder even recirculated.

No, not difficult.
You just unbolt the t/c from trans, pull the axles, unbolt the p/s and a/c pumps, unbolt crank pully, unbolt and remove all 4 mounts, remove center crossmember and strut bar. Hook the engine hoist chains just off center of the engine/trans combo towars the cam sproket side of the engine. Pull hood off. Lift combo as high as possible, then pick up on the transmission and rotate out.
Between me and Brandon (upstateevo) we had it out with in 2-3 hours, but we were very effecient in removing the transmission & transfercase bolts because that was our 2nd-3rd one we had dont that month.

I am fighting suspension noises/alignment issues. Every time I try to do 1 lil mod, it turns into a freakin snowball.
