After seeing all the warranties being riped up and turned into the equivalent worth of a piece of paper, I no longer wish to mod my car...

That aside, I chose the 6 speed over the 5 (seeing how I dont race...usually) because I feel physical pain when I hear my engine ROAR too much. 6 speed seems a bit calmer to me...but thats just me

 

The 6 speed is a very nice trans, in fact 1-3 are actually thicker then in the 5 speed. The issue with the 6 speed trans is that they put 6 gears inside the same housing as the 5 speed box, hence the 4-6 being smaller, and the 4th gear prone to failure because it is used often when under load....anyway i'm not going to get into that.

Go with a Shep trans, depending on you HP goals there are allot of choice's you can go with. If you're serious just send them an email and they should get back to you with a price on a new unit.
