4" stainless exhaust
I was not thinking of a 4" exhaust but I recently saw a 4" stainless system from the turbo back on a car and it was really nice. It was a little on the loud side but it sounded really good. I talked to the shop that did it and they told me that it would cost me $2100.00. That sounded crazy to me but they told me it is all mandrel bent 304 stainless and it uses V-band clamps throughout ad it will tuck under the car perfectly with no rubbing or banging.
Is there a company that makes a comparable system for less money? i have been looking ever since I saw this system and I can't find one, that is why I am on here. I cannot believe that $2100.00 is a good price but a few people have told me that it is not bad.

The car that I saw it on had a GT40 but I have a 35. I think I want to change the flange and upgrade to a 40 because this set up looked bad ***. the only problem he had was he blew out his sheet metal intake manifold a couple of times.
This is true, but I doubt he is that big.

The evo exhaust is straight with a little 45 degree bend on the end. That is why 4" exhausts typically don't show gains on an evo over a 3" exhaust.
Most cars that do see good gains with a 4" is due to the exhaust having a lot of bends in it. I have witnessed huge gains from going to 4" on some cars, but the evo is not one of them. Any minimal gains you get on an EVO will also be offset with the added weight of the 4" exhaust. Trust me on this one, a 4" stainless exhaust is HEAVY.
Also, ground clearance is TIGHT. My car sits with about a 1.25" fender gap on the 26" diameter tires. It's maybe an inch lower then stock, if that. I have a little more then 3" of ground clearance on the 4" exhaust.
