this might be in the wrong section but w/e, i just got my car back from local speedshop, they put a new clutch in it and now this happened. thy are blaming me for it when they had my car. the car makes a noise. wheni was dropping my car off it didnt make no noise what so ever!!! how did this happened?

clutch install wont make your wheel bearing go bad


can you describe the noise you are hearing? does it sound like a low flying helicopter when turning?

 

when giving gas or even cruising with no gas makes that noise

 

and about the clutch install what if they did a really ****ty job?

 

unless they took your car out and beat the crap out of it and did some doughnuts then it probably just a coincidence


that is weird though, usually when a bearing goes its gradual

 

there really is no way to damage the bearing as its encased in the knuckle, idk what they did.

usually bearings go bad from repeated high g turns (read autox) or other similar abuse

how many miles are on your car?

 

If they moved your car with out the axles that could do it, but i highly doubt that happened. I think it was just time for yours to go, i have seen some go out in very low mileage evos.

 

same thing happened to me....just order a new wheel hub assembly. I believe it's 164ish from mitsu.
