My Full-Race came whit open dump tube, and I triad it on the street: it is awful , it is so loud! and not even a nice sound! So’ I reroot it to the dunepipe.

Didn’t daydo it before and after, but if I lost something I don’t care, if you off the street 100% of your time maybe go open dump.

That's about the craziest dump tube setup I have ever seen. I'd hate have all that black soot blow back on my windshield eveyrtime I go near WOT. I have an open dump on my Eclipse and it is loud with just an EvoIII turbo, I don't think I'd want one on a street Evo with even a moderate turbo upgrade.

I don't have the dyno sheet to prove this (primarily because I was so pissed I didn't want to keep it!), but I had an open dump-tube on my S2000 and changed it to a closed. I was told that I wouldn't suffer any significant power losses and that it would be quieter. Well, it sure was quieter but I lost 50rwhp! I am not saying that somebody could gain 50hp by converting to a open dump-tube, primarily because of different vehicles/setups/conditions/etc., but I can guarantee you you will make more power with an open vs. closed dump-tube.

NOPE, on e85 gas you will never see that.

If you are going over 14 psi on the street I don't think you are concerned about noise or anything like that anyways. There is no problem with running one on the street and it sounds absolutely ****ing epic when it's open.

I personally love the sound. However you only hear it if you want to... i doubt any just drives W.O.T. all day everyday.

It does make a few extra hp but nothing to miss, i would really take that into consideration as a deciding factor unless you were just trying to squeeze all the possible hp you can.
