can anyone on here who is running a quaife lsd in there center diff tell me if its worth the 1k i spent? i figured since i had the trans and xfer case out that i would have my tcase beefed up with a quaife lsd. do i still keep my acd or is it removed once i have it installed? how is it for daily driving?any info would help.

 

its not worth it on a car that has acd.. 03/04 its well worth it though.

i have it on my evo and i felt no big difference in performance. yes you will still keep your ACD as normal.

if you are in motorsport or drag race, you will benifit from the added strenght of the quafi unit over the standard one.

i broke me center diff once while hard launching running slick tires. two of my friends also broke the center diff while launching hard.

my mechanic was happy when i got the center diff and he told me it will increase the strenght of the center diff which he said it will not hold modified engines with launches over 6k rpm.

agian i didnt feel much of a difference in the cornerning performance.

 

I don't think Quaife do a center diff, only front diff I think.

If it is in the transfer case it is a front diff, if it is in the transmission it is the center diff.

yes quaife makes a center diff also i have a brand new in a box if anyone is interested
