ok i have never launched the car before but today i did and launched at around 4500 but when i was launching i paniced and i rode the clutch and it revved to like 6800 and then i realized what i was doing and got completely off the clutch and went,rolled forward up to like 15mph and that was when i realized what i was doing. is it going to be ok or should i go and get it checked out like i said that is the first time i have even tried to launch. is it bad because i definatly smelt it while i was driving.

if you were wondering what i raced it was a 72 nova with a cowl hood........ and yes i beat it by like 5 car lengths.

 

Well...did it smell like "asscheese"? if so, you probably glazed your clutch allittle...but it will still work fine untill you do this a dozen more times. I have done 10 runs on my car plus street practice launches...
