Evo MR Full Fluid Change.

Ok so im going to be having a full fluid change soon and im looking at some peoples recipies for success. This is what I have so far.

Car's currently at about 18,300 Miles.

Oil : Redline Full synthetic Oil.

Clutch Fluid: Not Changing ATM.

Transmission Fluid: ?? (OEM) ??

Transfer Case Fluid: ?? (OEM) ??

Brake Fluid: -Edit- Probably not changing. Unless someone suggests to.

Rear Diff: 1 quart Redline Heavy Shockproof w/1.0 ounce of Redline LSD Additive

Front Diff: ?? Same as rear?!?!

Coolant: OEM

Should i use the same for the front diff, as i should for the rear?

I run redline LW shockproof in my trans. Shep recommended it to me.

You don't need OEM coolant. Water/Water Wetter would work good in Florida.

I need to do the same thing but for a 5-spd tranny (7000 miles though, heavy tracking ). I was looking to go with AMSoil products given their great reputation, but dont know what fluid types, viscosities, and such I need.

If you like to run your car a little hard from time to time you should definitely flush the brake fluid with that many miles. Do it with RBF600 or ATE superblue.

Dont mean to jack the thread! Just had the same questions!

And you will get that nice firm pedal back with some fresh brake fluid in there. Get all the air out of the system.

For the MR tranny, I recommend the synthetic well sell to 6 speed owners. It's all I put in my own transmission. My 6 speed now has 93,000+ miles on it. I put Redline HeavyWeight SHockproof in my TC and Redline 75W-90 in the rear diff.

For more info on the Castrol SynTorq, just click the link in my sig.
