If I remember correctly...The A/R on the cast many is comparable to that of a Garret .63, or close. While the tubular manifold is made to be used with T3 style turbos, especially those of the .82 A/R variant......which buschur himself recommends.

Therefore, HTA35R with a .82 a/r >>>> Cast manifold with smaller a/r.

If youre looking for power, go with the tubular kit.

I had the cast manifold kit on my car a few years ago. The car did run 9.97 at 142 mph and made as much as 590 whp on race gas.

The header kit with the T3 housing will make more power, absolutely. How much more? I can't say for sure as I haven't done a back to back test in a very long time. It will depend on the turbine housing size you use with the T3 housing too.

The cast kit does spool a little faster, 300 rpm maybe.

8500 which is pushing it hard, I don't recommend it to my customers but I got tired of hitting the rev limiter trying to cross the traps without shifting to 5th. Right now I have HKS 280 cams on stock springs/retainers, I do have head studs, but everything else is the stock shorty/head for now. I have a BR 2.0/stage 3 head/BF 272 cams to go in asap with upgraded springs/retainers so I can spin it a little higher when needed.

sorry for the off topic EE
