that's covered on the warranty right ? how many miles do you have in the evo?

the warranty is a joke. they would prolly say that he didnt put the right windshield wiper fluid in...hence a voided warranty.

sucks man. after i blew mine it was just maken a loud noise and wasnt boosting at all. so i just decided to upgrade to a 35r

If you have mods on your car they might warranty it. If you don't then they WILL warranty it. It also matters which dealership you take it to.

I was under the impression that Mitsu will void warranty even if a windshield wiper is not on right. Just wondering, what dealer do you know of that aren't *******. I don't know any around me but it would help knowing that there is a decent dealer around when a problem comes up.

Some dealers are more lenient on those mods so I believe you could try your luck before sending it to your own workshop. Or perhaps demod the car and resend to mitsu.? hehehehe

Ouch yeah blown turbo for sure, sucks man. I hope they will warranty it, may be worth switching out the stock parts.

sorry guys... he told me he has a blown motor... there is a nice sized hole in the block. I have no idea how it happened since he is only on bolt-ons,cams and NO meth. I am assuming it was detonation
