Not much power locked up in the headers designed for the factory turbo. I think there have been numerous tests that showed that tubular headers for the stock turbo haven't been worth it. IIRC, the only one to out-perform the stocker was a Full-Race unit, and its over $500.
What about LICP & meth? If you want to pull your turbo off, you could always have your stock manifold ported. Or if you waited and had a bit more to spend, you could send your turbo out for a rebuilt as a White, Green, or Red.

Yea I have the megan manifold. A lot of guys on here do, I don't really think it's worth it, and I paid like $220 new or something. I would ask Buschur Racing what they could do for you with $500!
