I use this slide hammer, use a 10mm bolt to put into the shaft and use the slide hammer to get it out.

we have that. now we cant get the throw out bearing away from the pressure plate from the "peep" hole. the tranny is completely off but wont come off until we do that last step. it looks like its away from the pressure plate. but its not budging. it looks like its away from the pressure plate about 1/4 inch.

here is what were supposed to do

you are going to have to have the trans flush against the block, make sure the bolts are in. If you have the trans off you can't release the t.o. bearing.

talk about the install from hell

make sure when you go to relase the TOB you push the fork towards the drivers side, this will push the TOB into the pressure plate, then you can slide a flat head screwdriver inbetween the PP and the tob and pop it out. it should come out pretty easily

keep trying, sometimes it may get a little stuck. You may have better luck if someone pulls the clutch fork for you while you twist the screwdriver.

I know this is off topic but does anyone have a part number for that bolt & nut? I've been needing it for a while now.

You guys have never worked on the clutch before. I did this by myself using the evomoto and it worked out. It will take some playing to get the TOB out.
