Cam Settings; Road Racing, Time Trials

To answer the question before it gets asked, yes I have searched the forum quite extensively for this answer.

I am running hks 272/272 with hks adjustable cam gears. I am curious as to what settings the road racers out there are running? I tried the -3/-3 and have not really seen that much improvement over pre-adjustment settings.

Most of the threads on here talk about low end, or drag applications.

Any road racers out there care to shed some light on their settings?

I do not care whether the idle is smooth, or lopey, my main concern being most performance possible out of the cam setup.

Other motor mods list might help;

Aftermarket Valves & Springs, Buschur 3" DP, TP, and Exhaust.
Stock '03 VIII Turbo
K & N Cone Filter
Buschur Race Intercooler & Piping
TwinScroll tubular exhaust manifold.
21 psi

With stock turbo running high boost it's good to avoid overlappage, maybe delay the intake 2 degrees. Overlap is bad at high rpms and small turbo. 21 psi probably won't be a problem though. I would ask that razorlab guy, he's got the experience for moderate boost, stock turbo road racing applications
