Our car, same type build, similar weight on the RED also went same times, within .04 or so. I don't think our times were the best we can get, nor are David's, but I think his was closer to being maxed than ours was. Both of these cars represent the POTENTIAL of both turbos. A street race with different mods on different cars and different tunes would not accurately represent the comparative potential of either one of the turbos.
All good and true points you have made, and I highly value your experience and opinion. I didn't post the video with the intention of it being any kind of "proof." Sorry if I made it seem that way. It's just because it is the only relevant "race" footage I have seen regarding these two turbos where dyno results from the same BR dyno were available. I also want to emphasize that I am not knocking the Red in any way. It's incredible for what it is and the best value in any turbo available for the Evo IMO.

Girls like things bigger, So if I were you, get an HTA35r! LOL.

I wonder what the outcome would be if evodan was at 30psi, where the 35r loves to shine...

Hokiruu, I undestand fully what you were saying. I was just adding my points for the ones doing comparisons.
90GSXDan, Trent's dyno chart on Buschur's dyno was made using 93 octane fuel and 30 psi on the RED. His dyno and the one referenced above are nearly IDENTICAL with exception of the torque during spool up. I'll try to find Trents and post it. The numbers from 5000 up slightly favor the RED, believe it or not. Not sure what the pmc-92w psi was during the run.

As posted in the Buschur RAcing Forums:
This is the dyno sheet from today of Trent's car. (FP RED)

BR 2 liter
BR Stage 3 head
BR COP
BR double pumper
1000 cc injectors
BR ported exhaust manifold
FP Red turbo
BR 3" turbo back
AEM EMS
Exedy triple disc
BR battery kit
BR upper and lower 2.5" i/c pipes
"This is a full build up in other words. The car ran 10.0 at 142 mph on a GT35r kit. The car now has the stock appearing red on it.

Great results as can be seen by the dyno sheet. Peak boost was 30.0 psi. Dyno'd on Shell 93 octane fuel. AFR's mid 11's. " Buschur Racing Forums

Heres the dyno from above. Notice that the RPMS and the whp axis are identically the same. Easy for comparisons.

from my perspective I have to say, the red is decent for drag, great for track days, awesome on the street with pump gas and meth 19 lbs of boost. [/I] forgot to mention the gas i get here is 89 octane.....
