Dc Sports Dp Rubbing?

I'm a bit confused as to why my DC Sports Downpipe is rubbing (against the tcase I believe). I've searched around and everyone seems to say that this dp is a perfect fit but mine was REALLY close to rubbing and now after a week of driving, I just checked and now it is rubbing + i can tell when the car is on that its rubbing. It does clear the cross member though...

Any ideas as to what I may have messed up during installation? I know getting the pipe thru the hangers was a complete bych and I could only get one side in. The right side is being supported by the hanger but its not going through the hole its supposed to be going through. I'm going to try and fix that and see if it gives the pipe enough clearance but do you guys think this is the problem? Theres really no possible way I put it on crooked because even if I did, once i tightened the dp bolts, it would have corrected itself no? I'm not too comfortable knowing that the pipe is rubbing and I don't want it to turn into a serious problem.

My guess is that its because the rightside hanger was not re-installed correctly. What were you having trouble with as far as getting the hangers re-installed?

It was just a major PITA getting them on right. I will fix it and I can only hope it will solve my problem. But by the way it looks, I am doubtful that this will solve the rubbing issue.

Try using a small ball peen hammer to "notch" it in where its hitting the Tcase, or buy a megan, perfect fittment and cheaper. my 2 cents.

You will most likely damage the pipe in the long run if you do not fix the problem and the hot exhaust heating your TC is not a good thing either. BTW, I run the same DP with no issues.

I have a megan... and while I don't see it rubbing... since I installed it, I once in a while get a bit of a rattle which I haven't figured out where it's coming from.

I haven't had any rattles, try checking the spring exhaust bolt and make sure its not hitting the tcase or the lower tie bar, mine was a little close but never touched. GL
