Just did my Walbro

I should have followed direction a little bit better. Instead of disconnect the power harness, I disconnect the high pressure fuel line I then try to start the car to release pressure and guess what, I saw a huge pile of gas under my car. Good thing my gas tank is almost empty Lesson learned. Anyhow, it's all back up and running!

I belive it took me about 40 min because I had a hard time taking the oem fuel pump out of the hole and didn't want to rush. It was my first time too so go figure Oh thanks to Evomoto write up.

EvoJoeIX - I guess I did mix it up because i didn't pay attention to detail lol

By itself, are there any advantages to running a walboro otherwise?

I just installed a walboro 255 as well. Definitely easy to do, just a PITA to get the assembly out as stated already.

I was just wondering what this thing is supposed to sound like. I don't hear mine until it kicks into high pressure then it makes a highish pitched humming sound all most like its vibrating. I was told by somebody that theirs is a high pitch whine, as in a solid high pitched tone; this being in a subaru.

EDIT: I searched a bit more and heard others talk about buzzing, thats more like what I hear. Low pressure I hear outside of the car and I hear high pressure kick in inside of the car.

... Maybe the bug-eye has a diferent pump?
