shifted from first to second around 5 grand and the felt like i missed a gear. now my neutral position is my first gear and it wont go into any other gear while driving. When stopped it will shift in other gears but they are all out of order...what the hell happpened? I looked at the shifter linkage and everything seems normal. Is my tranny broke?

they still have to prove that the extra load capacity of the aftermarket clutch is capable of breaking/bending a shift fork...which i dont think they can or will take the time in doing. I plan to carry this out as far as i have to to get my car fixed under warranty. I will even go as far as filing a report with FTC

its not just as simple as to, "hey look your clutch is worse then out stock one, so therefor it fubarued your car." Technically the stock clutch can bend/break a shift fork as well.

I done this a long time ago with 5k on my vehicle. Missed 2nd, tried for force it

Wouldnt go in gear period, bent shift fork. Also the pin came out of the shift fork and tore my trans up.

Good Luck

but that is exactly what is gonna happen, they are gonna say "increased pressure on the input shaft/clutch assembly (blah blah blah) due to your upgraded clutch caused the shift fork to bend". it also seems that its not so much they have to prove it caused it, its more that you have to prove it didn't

at this point you will have three options:

1)take them to court
2)pay them to fix your shift fork at the dealer $$$$$$$$$$$
3)send your transmission out to shep or TRE to get it fixed and upgraded (probably the cheapest option unless you happen to be a lawyer and defend yourself)

i would pick option 3, you gotta pay to play, if you wanted a full warranty then you should have left the car stock and waited to do mods until the warranty was up

yeah i might just send it out to SHEP. But first ill see how much of a headache and pissed off i can get the service rep if he says that he wants to go to court. Which i highly doubt he wants to.

ill keep this thread updated guys.
