Tial wastegate...need help

Is it common for these to break? I have a 35R btw.

My car is getting boost spike and we checked everything and also installed new EVC. We think the problem is the Tial wastegate. Would I need to get new wastegate or just buy internal parts? Any way to test if the wastegate is busted?

Thanks guys

not common....if you're spiking try to turn down the gain on the EBC...if that doesn't help take the controler out of the equasion all together and run a line from the pressure only source to the side port of the gate, leaving the top open...if the spike goes away, it's not the wastegate

+1, Run straight wastegate pressure, thats what I had to do to narrow it down.
