In for an update DS-03EVO how did the dyno session go? How did the non-cdi system perform?

 

The dyno went great. There was no missfires that is for shure.
The non CDI rocks, it works great!!

 

I wonder how these compare to the okada projects i have on my car?

 

I'm sure these spark tech coils work awesome. But for us mortals running mortal type boost, I have seen the SUN auto hyperforce work very well. I would consider that before the HKS unit.

 

the dli2 and such are worthless in my opinion...

I would put this system up against the Okada's ANY DAY. We gained 8-10whp repeatedly by switching from stock coils to this non-cdi system. This was on a very lightly modded 03' evo 8 with 21-22psi. I have no doubt the gains will increase with a heavily modded car. I haven't seen ANY dyno data from Okada's take a look on this forum. We've been promised a review of Okadas for almost 1yr and no dyno data to back up the claims.
