<grin> Not always, if you have a quiet exhaust. Ask me how I know.

FWIW, I run a Works system with a HFC. It's a little louder than stock, but not nearly as obnoxious as most Evo exhausts I've heard. I chose Works, because I greatly prefer a quieter exhaust system. I rev high, boost as often as I can - my car rarely sees less than 3500 RPM - and almost never drive on the highway. Having a quiet exhaust saves my *** from the local constables time and time again.

So you don't sound like a ricer or drag racer? So you can talk to the person next to you while you're driving? So you don't get looked at by cops? So you can pass DEQ? So it doesn't cause excess vibration on parts to come loose?
