Problem installing Buschur under hood shifter bushings

I just recieved my bushings but when my mechanic removed my stock rubber bushings to compare it with the metal ones I got from Buschur, the small one is too small and the larger one is too big. Am I doing something wrong or did I recieve the wrong item?

My ride is a JDM Evo IX GT 5 speed.

Maybe different sized bushing between the JDM and USDM? I'd contact Bushcur and see what they say.

Yea, mine went on after a little grease. It was a little tougher than I thought to get it completely seated with the cotter pin, but it was a perfect snug fit.

It does get into the pin but the gold rim that it is supposed to be fitted on does not fit nicely. Gettin some pics up now.

it only lookd like its too small because it of the rubber. Since this once is not rubber it has a retaining clip to hold it in place... trust me it will fit. I thought the same thing when I did mine. And it will fit snug.

What do these bushings improve? Is it worth the price and the hassle of installation?

Less of a mushy shifter feeling. Precise and accurate shifts. No movement of the shifter. Is it worth it? I think they're super easy to install, so I did it on my VIII and X. And the Buschur ones fit just fine for me on my VIII.

Nevermind, I just noticed you were talking about the outside diameter.

Naw mine is a JDM 5 Speed. Anyway I think I got it figured out. The linkages for the USDM and JDM are different. JDM ones use 2 small bushings.

Seems like I'm not the only one in trouble.

In the last pic, I think you have it upside down. The small one goes there, wher you have it pictured. It looks like the right size. The larger bushing goes further down below the one pictured.

Yes. I think they're around $28 or so, and they greatly improve shifter feel and precision. The shifts feel much more crisp.

Larger bushing goes on the lowest part of the transmission. And as the above post says you need to flip that bushing over you have it on upside down.
