im about ready to drop the tranny, according to the tutorial im using(evomoto) i need to remove TOB from pressure plate, it says to hold the fork into position while rotating a flathead screwdriver between TOB & wedge collar.... the TOB isn't budging at all... any suggestions or different methods of popping this TOB out so i can finally drop my tranny??

don't just squeez inbetween the collar and the lil wafer spring you have to get under the whole assembly, if you shine a light up in there you can kinda scout it out before you start prying around... but I tried to get the screwdriver in position first, then depressed the clutch arm to make it go flat, if you don't depress, I don't think it will let go...
Thats pretty much how to you do it. It is way easier than it sounds. I spent like 3 hours trying to pop that thing off their and ended up calling one of my buddies and he came and poped it off their on his first try! Make sure that the screw driver is between the release bearing and the wedge collar and that you have the relase fork pushed towards the drivers side of the vehicle while turning your screw driver 90 degrees. This can be a real pain in the a$$!

alright new problem, on the article, the guy left the Tcase connected and had it moved out of the way like i have it, however, the tranny/motor needs to be lowered approximately 4 more inches but the Tcase is in the way, we are thinking of disconnecting the drive shaft and removing the Tcase.... Is this my only option? or am i missing something in the equation?

i d/c my driveshaft from my tcase when i did mine, it just sat around within the same area where it sits and gave me a crap load of room to work with. but there should be enough clearance from the motor from the tcase to drop it, my tcase just popped off the driveshaft accidently lol.
if youre replacing your clutch no. unless youre practicing on how to do it before the real thing than yes
