High revving issue need advice

Hello. I have an evo 8 with built motor and a fidanza flywheel. Lately , sometimes, when i am driving it and i get on it and go to shift in between gears my rpm rev up high. It only usually happens inbetween second and third or third to fourth. I thought it might be my throttle cable but i checked it today and i didnt find anything wrong with it. I dont know if it might be my IAC valve either. Ill prolly check that shortly. But im wondering if anyone else has ever had any problems like this. Need some advice. Thanks

kinda silly but are you 100% positive you are coming off the gas 100% before you start to engage the clutch

chances are it's your shifting that needs work

are you sure the routing for the throttle cable is clear and easy to move.

I had the same thing with my 05. And so did every other evo that I drove. after you get on it try pushing in the clutch see if that relieves the problem. I know the 05's had this but it was from the factory for emissions or some BS.

Not sure what causes it but I know that it is something that is in the factory programming either ECU based or sensor based.

When i installed it i lined it up to the original bolt markings. I dont know why it would have made a change. Im wondering if it might be my tps maybe? or some other sensor?
