What is the normal oil pressureat idle in a evo 8 can any body tell me please?

from the sender by the oil pan thtas where my gauge is hooked up at

prob able 40 i think would be normal right? what do the 9's run they have the gauge for that

 

Evo IX, reads from 10 psi to 18 psi at 900 rpm, depending on how hot the oil is. My sending unit is in the bung next to the oil filter base. Before I installed the gauge, the idiot light would flicker at idle after a 25 min lapping session, I think that indicates even less than 10 psi. I switched to Redline 10W40 and the flickering went away. I'll see what the gauge reads next time out. btw, there are several threads about this that you can find by using the search function.
