I bought the ebay 3". I haven't installed it yet, but most people that get it have been satisfied. 220$ shipped for a turbo back.

RRE makes a really quiet exhaust system called the "Stealth". I had it on my 9, and am gonna inquire about one for my 10 tomorrow. It basically sounds like stock until you open it up, and then it just sounds (to me anyway) like a slightly louder stock exhaust. My car made really good power considering it's mods with that exhaust on there, so I'd say it flows really well.

I have a RRE stealth with their "rally cat" test pipe and an ebay downpipe. It's the quietest evo exhaust I've ever come across, other than stock. Full 3" with 2 resonators and a magnaflow muffler.

I can't help but feel all the muffling does sacrifice some flow.

As an alternative to a full stealth exhaust. My partner and I have been modding our customer's loud exhausts with a motorized silencer. Basically a cut-out valve placed inline. It drops the decibels dramatically.

You may want to try something like this:

Get the ETS 3" and get someone around the area to weld in a nice inline resonator/muffler.... Your issues will be solved!

I went with the HKS and I love it. It depends what your looking for man. The Greddy will definitely be louder so if thats what you want, go for that one. I have the HKS and with my hfc, the exhaust sounds awesome. Almost no drone, but still there when I get on it.

Well, the quick fix is to get a silencer for your car. I like the Apexi Active Silencer. It'll act as a normal silencer at idle-light throttle, but if you lay on the gas it'll open up to almost free flowing exhaust. You can find it on Ebay. Good luck.

This has been asked 1000000000 times on this thread. I have read most of them and from what I've read the Tanabe Medallion Touring is the quietest while still opening up the exhaust over stock. Also... English Racing is doing exhausts now. Look on their website (first video) for a sound clip.
