Have you had a chance to get your prototype stage 2 on your car and tested? I remember Brett hinting at it in that long *** post between you and works. You said it was just on display and that you'd be testing it out in a week or so.
So I'm just checking in to see how you guys are making out with it. Did you get a chance to try it out yet? What exactly is in the kit? How much power are you making? Estimated time of release? Are you using the XEDE to run everything?
Sorry for all the questions, just looking forward to your stage 2 package.

Don't think he's going to answer you for a bit, just went to his shop and it's closed (he's outta town).

 

Nope... we're here. Couple of our guys when to D1 down in LA this week so we're a little short-handed. Stage 2 is currently being fitted on a customer EVO. It includes a GT3037 turbo, Tial external BOV, full exhaust, upgraded injectors, upgraded fuel pump, tubular manifold, XEDE engine control system, etc,. Should be up and running with a few weeks, if not sooner.

Wow! 3037? I can't wait to see dyno numbers on this system!!! What PSI are you going to run with that turbo, Shiv?

 

At one point I think you were toying with HKS cams for stage 1.5- or 2 - is that still in the plan? Has the XEDE been able to tame those to idle nicely?

 

Cost is still TBA since there are a lot of possible configurations: w with or without upgraded IC, with or without HKS cams, etc,. We're going to be testing all the different combinations with this customer's car so we'll have a better idea of how it should be packaged if cost is OR isn't an option. As for boost levels, we'll see soon enough. We will be testing on a variety of fuels, including 104 unleaded.
