I'll just chime in for response to the original post ... Q and I will be installing the EMP housing on my car very soon. I plan to do as much data gathering as possible and provide it to the community. I'll be testing power gains as well as boost response, WGDC changes and max boost in comparison to my currently installed SS O2 housing w/ minor polishing.

I will be using DLL for power comparisons and logging from my JDM MAP sensor for boost response. We will do our best to keep all variables in check. The install does take a few hours though so minor temp/baro/humidity changes will be present as this is real-world testing. I will however be able to provide any values used for calculations to maintain data integrity.

We here at EPM are so fortunate to have Project Tuning as our on-board Tuning Consultant. His (Matt Williams) Tuning abilities are first rate and he always stays on top of the latest developments and implements these updates/patches in his Tuning work. Matt also has unquestionable integrity and the skill set to Tune any EFI engine.
As Matt states we will be doing an extensive test using his vehicle to show the Evo Community that we at EPM do not rest on our success but are willing to prove and back-up all these customer's great power gains.
Matt also consults with our R&D in our soon to be announced future products. And again we will extensively test these new products and again we have no qualms showing the Evo world what our products will do for power and other important benefits. Some companies claim this or that, but EPM will prove our claims in an real world enviroment.
Stay Tuned for these results and also for our soon to be announced future products....

So i watched the youtube link of the open dump. Made the hairs on my neck stand up! I cant wait to have this with a FP red on my car.

To all the people that think its too loud........learn throttle control around cops or trade your evo in for a focus. That will keep you out of trouble

We will be testing before and after on a mildly modified Evo for those interested. It will be here tommorrow.

The finish and build quality of this QTP unit appears to be exceptional.

I can tell you that the EPM O2 Dump Housing is 100% Made in the USA.
Fully Pulse TIG welded with the state of the art Miller Syncrowave 350LX. All tubes used for production of the EPM O2 Housing are fully 304 Aerospace Quality Stainless Steel again Made in the USA.
Don't be fooled into accepting anything but the best Handmade in the USA products.

We at EPM proudly put that Made in the USA sticker on every order we send out.

QTP needs to recirc that tube and then make a cut out on the dump tube! So you can recirc OR run open at the flick of a switch I'd defiatly buy one.

i can tell you first hand the EPM dump is not loud unless your foot is to the floor!! anybody with a daily driver thats worried about blasting everybody you dont have to worry about that...

This just goes to prove how much extensive R&D EPM is going thru and went thru to make there product what it is today....if i recall they went thru like 5 prototypes...that just goes to show that there not cutting any corners

This product is for real. Plain and simple. 25whp and 42wtq gains over my stock 02 housing. And yes, you can feel that!
I'm sure that AMS FMIC had something to do with that gain as well

Apples to apples comparisons help promote a product but claiming you gained that power by replacing just one part is a bit misleading.

I'd like to see a side to side comparison with this part and the QTP.

Also, why is it that the wastegate exit on the turbo doesn't match the wastegate on the o2 housing in terms of shape? That definitely should have an effect on the boost control.

No offense as I think your product has potential but many members of the board have had the ebay style o2 housing on their cars for years without 1 crack or any sort of failure.

Your welder and welding skills may be amazing but I don't see how thats relevant when your cheapest competition doesn't have reliability issues.

I'm not Chinese but the fact that 90% of the stuff you own is made in China should be enough for you to realize that buying something made overseas isn't "foolish".

Well; lots of people with the cheap chinese parts have had lots of problems out of them.

When we as a USA company works tirelessly to R&D a product to only have a cheap chinese knockoff come along and undersale is kind of discouraging. However; we do feel very confident in what we have designed and produced. And our O2 Housing has been proven over and over again.

We have data logs on not just one test vehicle but dozens that show our part makes power. Then along comes a newcomer with no proof no data to prove any claim. But I have yet to see any claim from this company that their product makes any power. Our product has been proven to produce 15-25hp on Other test vehicles not just the one you refer to. I would like to see some data to prove that any other O2 Housing makes power. Can you show me where any company has shown the Evo community the extensive data and proof that EPM has. We just didnt say we made 15-25whp, we proved it with data. And in the real world with over 100 EPM O2 units sold; time and again independent tuners/shops/dynos have shown similar hp gains. Our customer's don't lie if they like our product then it must make power, they have show us when they get tuned for our product just how much power it makes. yes; let's see some proof from the other product that it even makes power.

I doubt any FMIC will produce power, but they will help you retain power when the ambient temps rise, which causes a loss of power. But a FMIC give you power, I just don't think it will give you much if any additional power.

Check out our (EPM) original post about our product you will see data to prove our claims.

Also we feel we don't have to polish our product to make it look better, as Indy Evo has stated the quality of the welds shows just how much enthusiasm went into the product. We do take pride in our product and want to show-off our TIG welding. That shows the Evo community that we went the extra effort on our product. Our Turbine tube is almost 50% larger than the Ebay/Megan o2 housing. We use a 3inch tube with a very unique radius, there is no other O2 Housing like it on the market anywhere.
