Hallman or Forge MBC

Use a Hallman MBC in WRX, want to get one for the Evo but was considering a Forge. I know the Hallman is considerd the best but how does the Forge stack up compared to the Hallman with ceramic ball?

The Hallman Pro RX (the one with the ceramic ball) is a great MBC, I don't have any experience with the Forge but I know that the clicking action is kinda neat. With this in mind buy the one you like, I'm sure that you will achieve the same results with both.

Both work just as good. I have a Hallman at the moment but I like the racheting feature of the forge

Peace

i'm running the hallman pro rx and it works great.
i also had the forged before and it did not work well for me at all. with the forge the the boost would surge at times and was very inconsistant.

i run the forged diverter valve with no problems though

Hallman all the way. I did have one with the threads stripped on the knob, Emailed Hallman, they told me to send it in and they will either fix it to replace it, no charge.

Thanks for all the feed back, probably will go with the Hallman Pro RX. Was wondering if the Hallman had a finer adjustment than the Forge? Looked at the TXS, didn't know if I would like the way you have to adjust it., did not know the guts where different. Any other feedback n the TXS? Have a TXS UTEC in a WRX but use a Hallman Pro MBC and never had any problems with it. Plus I like the cockpit adjustment option available with the Hallman.

i just like the turboxs because its fairly inexpensive(65.00) and it has an easily adjustable turn knob with no allen key required. its very solid, i just dont like the ball and spring of its competitors. maybe i'm a little partial, but all the controllers mentioned are well designed and manufactured.

Thanks TeamValorRacing, you have me looking at the TXS again, didn't know it was knob adjustable.
