Indeed, but the and the way you worded the thread wasn't the best method IMO. I'm glad you're getting taken care of because that is the most important thing here. I'm also sure you would have gotten help if people didn't feel you were negative about the product. I totally understand your side, but I hope you see where some of us are coming from as well.

I'm glad you were able to get a response to a solution to your problem, but I'm going to have to agree with several of the members your title was not appropriate. When ever I have a problem with a vendor I always pm them first and if needed I follow up with a phone call.

Ehhhh I understand both sides of this. Unfortunately my experience has been that most vendors take a really long time to reply after they have your coin. I'm not saying this is the case, but most places focus on getting new business rather then helping out folks that they already made money off of.

Also vendors often give you the runaround and start blaming tuners, install, anything but them of course. So getting an honest opinion from someone not affiliated with the company is sometimes a good idea.

He should have given SparkTech a chance first, but you know how it goes. Part of the game.

I agree man! A lot of venders are like that, that's for sure! But like I said earlier, I'm glad the guy got taken care of!

Something the OP forgot to mention this system was shipped to him on 5/20/08. I don't know if BRAND NEW suits the thread title. In my opinion not many people spend 1K and waits several months to install. Maybe the car was down for other repairs.

Its not HP only that makes you require COP by the way.. Ask your friend how many lbs of boost her runs to make that 1089?? ill guarantee you its not 50psi.. I had a supra here make 980hp on 35psi.. He didnt need a COP.. my car at 700hp made 35whp with a COP.. Yes my car needed it.. who knows if your friend might have made 1115hp with a COP.. think about it..

Sorry to go OT but...

Mike was the power increase from direct bolt on? Or was it from being able to run a little more gap and small changes in the tune?

I am trying to decide if I should get a COP or the DLI for my Red running 29 psi (if I keep the car)

Thanks in advance

I changed nothing at all.. My car made 697whp the day before on my dyno.. I put the COP on and made 735whp.. I was shocked myself..
