the best cams you can get for an evo ix in my opinion is the Cosworth m3 cams.

I have them, love them

Bro everyone is going to have a different opinion. I have the HKS 272's and with the stock head I was happy with those. Now that I have completely rebuilt the head with supertech dual springs and all supporting stuff I am looking for a set of JUN 272's. Of course I am always open to new information and the Cam test that AMS did was a little eye opening for me.

Cosworth M2 or GSC S1's. Don't go S2's unless you go with a bigger turbo. (Anything bigger than FP GREEN)

S2s

After reading what all you guys said I was about to order the GSC 1. BUT I talked to my tuner (Mellon Tuning) about it he told me that I SHOULD get the S2. He told me he had proven everyone that you don't loose drivability and that the power benefits are enormous. He also said that even though GSC has stated that S2s won't work with turbos like the Green or smaller, that they do work. He said that he has talked to people at GSC about it and that they recognized this.
So I will go for the S2s.
Thanks for all your experience and ideas.

Well, either you installed them wrong, or didn't tune them right. Any factual information to support your ridiculous theory of why they suck?

first of all FP 5R's are extremly too big for a Green, thats plain and simple out of the question.

second if you want to make power go for the kelford 272's on the green, anything bigger then the green you can always change the intake cam to a kelford 280 and make some serious power.

third, search around and see what others have made, or are using, there are thousands of threads that members have stated what work and dont work.

theres always the AMS cam test you should search also.

goodluck.
