I just installed my BR filter kit which is really a nice part. Install went good and car runs good (just like stock, no idle problems or stalling at all) and the dv sounds great. I would recommend this part to anyone. I do notice improved throttle response (gas pedal seems a easier press down on) but did I really gain any hp? No tune, I just reset ecu. Is it proven that adding a open air filter gains a few hp and torque.......any links or dyno graphs would be great. Thanks!

What does the Gas Pedal have to do with this? Did you lubricate the throttle cable or petal, or something? Are you feeling ok?

 

He means its spooling faster.

 

got it on the search, sorry guys......looks like buschur did a dyno and its like 6 hp or so

 

I think the real questions is, did you buy it to gain HP, or did you buy it to hear your turbo spool and dv do its thing? If the latter, than who cares, if the former, shouldn't you have searched for that before you bought it?
