I dont like to speculate HP until I test something on the car.. I will be testing it and give EXACT expected gains very soon..

is that a high reading dyno? because it seems inconceivable to me that a IX will make 383 with no cams and no 02 housing. Some greens with full bolt ons don't make that much. The gains are indeed impressive. But god damn that IX must be a factory freak if it made 383 with no cams and a stock 02 housing.

Its a dynojet and reads pretty accurate considering the other dynos we have put the same cars on.. when my car made 701 on my dyno it made 697 on another local dyno.. We have actually had several tuners come here and say it actually reads low.. It is one of the higher reading Evos we have had on the dyno considering the mods though.. This car flies.. We are doing the 02 dump hopefully tonight!!!

btw.. any green with full bolt ons that doesnt make 400-420hp has an issue..

 

thats some crazy whp for a stock turbo ! damn im jealous.

 

^^ must be a factory monster. It seems that factory IXs make approximately 240-250whp on most dynos. So thats telling me that with a tbe/tune/ic/injectors it picked up 130-140 whp

Its on E85, thats why. I made 385whp/403wtq on E85 with only 27psi boost and slightly less mods than this car.

Thanks Mike. I would evenetually like to pick one up to squeaze every last bit of power out of my car in future. Been thinking about it for sometime now. For the money though I wont pick one up for awhile.

 

What do stock IX's base on your dyno? How much is e85 a gallon in your area?

 

Damn sucks that theres no E85 stations in nyc.

 

Stock IX will dyno 250-260whp normally.. E-85 is 3.39/gal..
