So i have Decided on an Exedy Twin ... any downsides?

After Tons and tons of reading ... searching these forums... i have decided on an exedy Twin HD clutch...

AMS will be doing the install...

2 things that i ask you guys...

1. Is there a downside to this clutch... i sometimes launch my car.. Daily driven.. Will not exceed 400 WHP...

2. What is the best place to purchase one?

it can sound like your car is breaking in half when letting into first haha...but you get used to it and its an awesome clutch...launch all you want! it has a temper depending on weather but once the clutch warms up ... perfect!

my only issue with the clutch is that in heavy stop and go traffic with very little actual driving (move for 6 feet or so, stop, then move a lil more) the clutch with feel like it slips (like a worn out clutch) It always returns to normal after it cools down.

I didnt get any chatter out of mine until i put 6k miles on it. I have launched it about 12 times total, 400hp car with just the standard retaining clip (no mod done) with out issues.

Do the AMS push conversion while your at it since they are doing the install. It will feel much better for a DD and also youll NEVER have to worry about the retaining clip. And if you upgrade to a triple you will still be able to use the conversion!

MAperformance.com is the place to buy it from in the Midwest. A little chatter is the only downside I noticed with this clutch. I installed it without any modifications.
