Hey All.

Ive just brought a set of HKS 264/264 cams and I was wondering what gains you guys think I would be getting? Also, do these cams have a small lope at all?

Im currently 260whp..
My current mods are;

I would be tuning to the cams, and the new 100cell cat..

Thoughts?

I have 264's and I like them. They do lope a little bit some so the time, not all the time. Idle is as close to stock as your gonna get IMO.
There good for making torque, not so much for the top end. You would want 272's or 280's if thats what your looking for.
My car made 297whp & 310wtq on a very conservative mustang dyno, w/ B&B TBE, walbro, Hallman MBC, and a K&N drop-in plus the cams. Cars makes great torque between 3800-5200rpm, over 300 at the wheels.

 

Wow, and it seems that even though you have less mods, you are making more power... =O

Does anyone have a sound clip of the 264's?

Im very interested in making more torque, as I plan on tracking the car 4~6 time per year. The car is also a daily driver.

Recieve 100 cell cat off MIL.SPEC today, still waiting on HKS 264's.

Im hoping for a nice jump in torque and a bit more HP up top...

I had HKS 264s on my stock turbo setup. Made 366whp/411wtq on 100oct and 28psi. Sorry, no sound clip.

 

Nice power... How does it sound? Much different?

go to youtube u should be able to find something , just type 264 hks evo

 

There is nothing on you tube with straight 264/264 HKS cams...

 

There was barely any lope to them.
