Theres alot of bluish white smoke coming out of my exhaust and my car just started to idle pretty high around the 1500 rpms.. can anybody give me any pointers on what it can be and how much it could cost and if anybody knows any good shops here in houston that can work on it
i got my compression and leak down test on my car it ended up showing my c4 was defective on leak down it was 175psi and on compression it was 75% all the other cylinders were good they were above average.. the mechanic told me the best thing was to sell the car it kind of bummed me out when he told me that cause he said it was going to be alot of trouble to fix it he said it would be about 2000 to rebuild it but im going to try to go to another shop to see how much it would be with them. but if yall got any suggestions feel free to tell me what to do cause i havent driven my car over a month and i miss it
Sounds like you should see another more competent mechanic. Suggesting that you sell the car (lemme guess....... to him?) because he says its too much trouble to repair makes me wonder. 75% from a leakdown standpoint is NG. Did he find out where all the air is going?

nop he didnt find out where all the air was going.. well ill end up taking it to another shop that work on evos down here in houston.. i mean he told me my piston ring wasnt all mest up cause when the car is cool and hasnt been running for awhile and the oil hasnt gotten hot it doesnt smoke but when the car is hot and has been running for awhile then its when it tends to throw white smoke but other thatn that the car still runs good it doesnt make any weird noises or anything or no smoke comes out from the engine either... im keeping the car for sure im not selling it all .. im going to fix it some how
