He said the car ran out of injector being it was on E85. If the car was on c16 he would have made more power.

The fact that Shep ran a 9.9 without even making 600hp is even more impressive IMO.

Very nice numbers DB. Which turbo and how much boost? That's alot of TQ, btw.

Ran into this same issue of maxing out 1600's on E85 on my evo @ 640whp on a Dynojet, this is with an AMS dual pump setup (one in the tank and another inline run in parallel).

When I switch out to the dual rail manifold over the winter and more injector I may see how much more I can give her on E85. Not sure on what combo of injectors I'll run as there are some new saturated 1000cc injectors on the market with a spray pattern like a 680cc which i would really like to test.

Nice job as usual Master Buschur..LOL Glad to see shep having some fun with his Evo as well..

I am pretty sure this is on a 35r not a red guys.. Also, E-85 is really consuming some fuel to max 1600's at that HP range.. although your dyno is low so thats 650 probably on a DJ.. I will find out where 1600's go on our dynojet soon on e-85 also..

seems like it might be time to put in a fuel pressure regulator and bump up that base fuel pressure a bit.

I ran out of injector on 1600cc's (95%) on our DJ at 640whp running 2 walbro's one in tank and one inline using E85. Didn't bother messing with base pressure, just switched back to gas (VP110) for now to turn it up more.

The turbo is a 35r HTA with my Shearer Turbo kit. The car is a full weight car on drag radials. I'd guess to say it has a low 9.8 in it the way it sits now on an ideal track.

John and David, Good numbers, not bad for a modified OEM intake manifold... cough v2 cough... and a 65mm TB.
