I installed a straight 3-inch pipe from the downpipe back. I was tuned on a 3 inch dp with stock catback, muffler removed and was seeing 165-170 KPA. Now that the pipe is on, I am seeing 180+ KPA.

My question is, can installing a straight pipe increase the boost level?

My mods are:
ETS 35R turbo
precision 1200 cc injectors
HKS EVC5 boost controller.

I guess those are the essential mods that would come into play concerning my problem.

Freeing up the exhaust will usually result in an increase in boost, you may need to alter the settings on your boost controller.
