Clutch Pedal Adjusted All The Way Out

just like the thread states it is and i hate it. i have an exedy twin disk and even with it adjusted all the way out its still really not shifting like it should. Does anyone recommend that i get upper and lower clutch lines and the ss clutch release rod from lancershop. I need to figure this out, the shifting on my car is driving me crazy.

Sometimes too far out can cause more problems than it solves. The release rod is a waste according to most people. What is your shifting problem? All gears are notchy? Or just a few? Or something else?

How many miles on the clutch and how hard you drive your car? Its sounds like your clutch is going out! maybe time for a rebuild kit!

Before the rebuild were you having same problem? Where does your clutch grab down low or up high?

in the pedal its up high right before its all the way out it engages. thats why i have the pedal adjusted all the way out. i want to bring it back down but i dont know why its engaging that high. before it wasn't doing it but that was because my clutch was toast

Your prolly gonna say the clutch was installed correctly, but IMO it sounds like a bad install.

Most likely, I did it once on my DSM and learned teh hard way about doin a tran by yourself wiht out a jack.

One way to ceck is to put the car on the 2 step with the car in 1st gear and see if it walks forward. If it does then thats the problem warped discs and PP of flywheel. I would assume all other friction surfaces were resurfaced?
