Which fluids for ACD, Transmission, and transfer case

Needing fluids for these three things. I've heard only get the acd fluid from the dealer, but seeing if there were anything else you guys used. Transmission and TCase I've heard the same thing, but also heard of a lot of people draining and using aftermarket. Before I had royal purple in the trans and tcase and can't say it did a horrible job. I'm actually replacing the 5 gear synchro and gear due to come teeth being chipped and the synchro being bad. Not sure note can I say the royal purple had a part in this due to seeing people having the same 5th gear problem. Any opinions are fine and would be helpful, just looking for something that I won't have a problem with!

Matt

I'm hoping to start tomorrow. I just need to buy a 10mm Hex key for the tranny drain/fill plugs.

^ I like AMSOIL products but I still recommend sticking with OEM fluids in the EVO.

I put some valvoline synthetic 75w 90 in the tranny and it shifts like butter. For the differentials i used Diaqueen.

get a nice hand pump to put to make the job easier.

For the record just because it shifts like butter doesn't mean its protecting what needs protecting.

Redline products work great in DSMs but there have been MANY evo owners that have had failures with that fluid. More so than those that stick with stock fluids.

Why does everyone feel the need to use aftermarket stuff when we KNOW 100% that the stock fluids do what they are supposed to?

To get closer to stock they claim MT90 should be mixed with MTL.

If you don't **** pound your evo you may not have issue but quite a few lapping day folks claim the redline stuff thins out and causes increased wear when the car is actually used for which it was intended.

what about the AMSOIL?

I'm about to do 30k and the prospect of my trans shifting better with a different fluid sounds tempting. Also OEM fluids are quite expensive, anywhere to get a better price on them?
