Why is SBR stroker kit so cheap?

50/50... if done properly a 10/10 crank is just fine... The bigger issue is making sure bearing clearances are correct when installing (IE double checking the guy who cut the crankshaft) -

Cutting cranks is the only process we do not perform in house - very costly and not a good return on investment for the DSM/ EVO guys.

I have personally used a 10/10 crank in a 700 plus HP build... and the motor is still together six years later in about its third car... oh motor, where art thou.

All good crankshaft grinders will mag the crankshafts previous to doing the work - yes... it is not very often you will find a cracked forged crank from a DSM or EVO... now a bent one ....
