stock clutch go bye bye

Went to the track tonight for the first time in the car 1st run 13.4 @ 109 with a 2.33 60ft.. Gag... Next run 2.002 60ft and a 13.1 missing third gear. Final RUN keep in mind 15-10 minutes or MORE between runs hit a 1.910 60ft and 12.54 @109 leave the track clutch slips horribly. Seeing as I need to get a clutch yesterday 4ws has said go with ACT HD with stock flywheel how much do these hold? goals for the car are 11s and 400whp thats all.

Ive heard good things about the Fidanza 3.2... for what its worth. I think it falls into the same catagory at the ACT, might be good for a bit more power. Just saying to check that out!

leave the track clutch slips horribly
I had the same problem - haha

I am just finishing up my clutch install. I bought an Exedy twin disc HD.

I have to say, if you are going to do the install yourself, you will THANK yourself by spending the extra $$ on the Exedy. Just knowing you won't have to go through replacing your clutch again anytime soon was worth it to me.

F3.2 > ACT HDSS in my book. Easier to drive, quicker shifts, no sore ankles...

The exedy may be more, but it is definitely worth it.

what RPM do you shift at? I know I shift at about 7.2k and I just got the ACT Sprung 6 Puck and its awesome. I have yet to get lock out probably because I shift a little earlier than most but at almost 3800ft I loose power if i go any higher, lol. But I should be in the 11's next time I go and I learn how to launch it and this clutch holds the power awesome, shifts great, and like I said, I have yet to get locked out. Once I make over 450hp I might spring for the quartermaster, but it was just to much to spend right now, lol!

btw I went with a new exedy street light flywheel since mine was toast and this combo feels great.

I would go with the exedy but i just can't afford it. Looking at the ACT 6 puck sprung as well now. got a good price quote from no limit for the entire combo. when changing clutches I know you need to change tranny fluid but what about transfer case?

Yes, change the trans and TC fluid. TC drained - makes it easier move around.
