I should have said that if baffles, etc. are added inside that reduce air volume it will indeed decrease flow..not increase it and allow better flow. I was just stating that some peoples line of thinking that added baffles will help are probably not true. It is a smaller filter, and probably allows less internal air volume..If anything it may mess with the way airflow enters the maf and cause the maf to read airflow differently.

Anyone has dyno sheet for the AEM intake? I was talking to my friend with a WRX and he told me AEM makes good power on the Subie, but the car runs lean.

Its silly to worry about dyno sheets on intakes - - after you tune a car with a sfac or whatever they will all be the same - I would just get the inatke that is fiting the best and is made the best - thsi one looks very promising !

I can say with my but Dyno I have felt the lose in power with a regular open element cone style versus my K&N drop in with the stock box. MY Evo was stock at the time and tried both, it did sound better with the cone style but felt alot slower and did not have the same throttle response. I think it does have something to do with the MAF sensor reading.Just my .02

AN intake makes more power with the more supporting mods it has. Go mod the hell out of your EVO, and then put the stock intake on. DYNO it, then run the AEM or any similar intake, you will see HUGE power increase, way more then 15PSI.

AS for an intake making a car run leaner, sure, why not, on a stock car, but This will go on with a SAFCII with BR settings, it'll make some nice power, no problem. Plus a MBC.

Here is intake I put on my car. Biggest filter avaliable for space, chrome K and N. Intake system is made by Speed-Source. Filter is 6 inch at base! Sound is very nice, power is smoother with more top end.... no Dyno info yet...

I vote for the Blitz SUS. I went through ton of intake and let me tell you I would not go back to any other kind.
