Has anybody has engine problems?

kinda worried me when a guy posted a forum that his motor messed up around 1600 miles and he hasn't even abused it, has anyone had trouble with their Evo's motor yet??

im fine. i know a lot that has more than 5k with no problems. im still at 1500 though.

Over 10k, no problems. All manufacturers will have produce a few that is a lemon.

19k miles....not a problem.

Remember, on an internet forum, people are usually much more willing to complain than compliment.

7000mi not a single one. As a matter of fact, I haven't had ANY problems with my EVO.

9000 on the clock nothing to complain about , a little detonation but I'm chalking it up to bad gas.

15300 miles and no problems until now

i think my powersteering isnt working right

When its idling i can barely turn the wheel but when i rev it a little its back to normal then hard again when it idles

No engine problems for me.. 15k miles.. I had a 5th gear defect that was promptly fixed by mitsubishi, but otherwise no problems..
