Not saying these new ones are better, as they are RARE and not many people have used/tested them. I have seen them make gains over Tomei 280* 11.5mm Procams.
I get what you're saying, but for anyone interested in purchasing cams right now in the US market, the HKS are a waste.

Well you may want to do a tad more research....Although the Kelfords and GSCs can make great power, there have been a number of posts regarding poor MIVEC oil grooves and the cam failing and thus destroying the engine. Kelford and GSC allegedly use the same cores (along with Cosworth) and all have had the problem, yet the HKS use a different core and have no reports of failure....

And all the new versions are revised and have this problem corrected.

TBH, kelfords are rubbish.

I have them and hate them which is why im swapping them out. Very poor gains.. ever since I put them in, the engine has never run right.

Your timing is off or you need a tune. Search for the ams cam test, kelfords were proven to be the best 272 cam available

I'd trust your opinions over mine

Nothing other than they seemed to be about 20whp less than the S2s. I am not sure if you are counting them since they are 274/274, but in that "class" they are very hard to beat.

Are you referring to GSC's new S2s or the one tested around the same era as the AMS cam test?

There have been a few revisions of the std S2s over the past few years... The newest S2s are 274/274 and the ones that Aaron are talking about.

Whatever S2 is currently on the market. I believe that it has been revised once or several times since then.

Does this apply to both 8 & 9 cam sets?

Nothing wrong with the timeing. We have spent over ALOT of hours tuning and adjusting cam angles.. the Kelfords are rubbish. And we are over them.

AMS cam test is old now. Too many new cams on the market.

Correct.

I am unimpressed with the Kelfords and while I wont call them rubbish, I do know there are cams that meet my requirements that I have access to. I choose to use cams other than Kelford for a reason .
