Clutch needed: withstand MANY launches & 450 TQ

I currently run an Exedy Triple Carbon I bought slightly used. I've had a lot of issues w/ it, and now it's starting to slip. I only have 450wtq, so it's certainly not too much power. The engagement & holding power are fantastic (when it's working properly). It only had abt 80ish launches after a partial repair done by Exedy.

I use the car as a competition Solo car, so I launch it approx 5-10x weekend (20-40x/mo), and very few street miles. My 2-step is 5400, and I don't overly ride it--just enough as to not shock the system & shatter an xfer case or something.

Is there any such clutch out there that can take 200-250 launches @ my car's relatively modest power level before needing to be replaced/rebuilt?
Any ideas on the rebuild cost of the Exedy (it just gave up the ghost @ an event yesterday)?

I've thrown a lot of $$ @ the car developing it & it's rewarded me (when I've done my part driving it ), but I'd like to save some $$ during these difficult times, so cost is a factor.

Thx in advance

George B.

That is about the same power as I am making on race gas. I would suggest either the Exedy Triple Cerametallic with AMS Push Conversion or the Tilton Twin Carbon. Either are great clutches, the Tilton being slightly better since this is a track car only.

When it's working properly, it's wonderful & engages smoothly. I just wish it'd last longer--a lot longer, for the $$ Although it does rattle like a coffee can full of marbles in a paint shaker when it's disengaged

I have a SPEC stg 2 in my 560rwhp ZR-1 Vette & it holds nicely, but I don't launch that car very hard (or often--garage queen). Also, I've heard SPEC has had some quality issues lately.

around ~$1400, engagement isnt all that bad. very similar to the tiltons, its a drag clutch so it is what it is.. its not very quiet, but if u dont mind the noise its fantastic.

im putting one in my car w/ a built tranny shortly

How used was this clutch when you got it? What were the friction plate specs?

I have a new clutch coming to the EVO community next week. Its a whole new outlook on all the competitor clutches that are currently out. If you can wait till this coming week i will post pictures along with a description comparing it to the competitors. I cant really say much more till its in my hands but i will keep you updated.
